PRE-ORDER Festive Stitch-Along Advent Calendar Kit

Announcing our 2024 Festive Stitch-Along Advent Calendar! Pre-orders close Friday 2nd August. 

We are so excited to announce our very first stitch-along just in time for Christmas this year! Stitch your very own festive heirloom embroidered advent calendar. Yep you read that right… we are going to be stitching and assembling a reusable hanging advent calendar which you can use year after year (whether you have kids or not!).

The hanging wall calendar will be 60cm x 90cm when completed and each pocket will be approx 13cm x 10cm in size meaning there is enough space for multiple little gifts each day! Day 24 will be a double sized pocket (for Christmas Eve).

How it works:

• You will receive a pattern kit with all of the supplies you need throughout the stitch-along:
  • 24 printed stick n stitch designs (one for each day)
  • 3m of cotton fabric
  • Over 25 skeins of DMC embroidery thread in recommended colours + DMC diamant metallic thread
  • Embroidery needles
  • 10cm hoop
  • Physical printed pattern booklet
  • Twine
• We will then start on the 30th of November by cutting and preparing our fabric ready to start stitching on the 1st of December! But you will have access to all the videos and instructions as soon as your kit arrives so you are welcome to prepare in advance!
• There are 24 different illustrated designs, and we will be stitching one for each day leading up to Christmas to create a fun embroidered advent calendar (photos coming soon). These designs will come on stick n stitch stabiliser so you can stick directly onto the fabric.
• And each day is designed to only take 1.5-2.5hours to stitch meaning you can easily stitch along with me day by day, or you can do a big stitch up when the kit arrives!
• You will receive access to video tutorials and step by step photos to show you how to prep your fabric for the calendar, how stitch each design and the assembly.
• Note that if you complete the stitch-along with me, this means your calendar won’t be assembled until after Christmas this year, but ready for use in 2025.

You will need (not included in the pattern kit): a length of dowel, scissors, a ruler, pilot frixion pen and a sewing machine.

• Pre-orders are shipped in early October, with priority to international orders to arrive before the 1st of December.
• This pattern does require basic skills and use of a sewing machine. You are able to stitch the calendar by hand if you don’t have access to one and there will be a tutorial for this.
• We’ll be adding “signature on delivery” to all international orders at no extra cost.
• All products and shipping on our website are in $AUD. Please note certain countries may require extra import charges – this is your responsibility to organise this once it has arrived in your country.
