‘Citrus Summer’ – PDF Embroidery Pattern (January ’24 Pattern Club)

‘Citrus Summer’ our pattern for January 2024’s Pattern Club is now available as a standalone PDF.

I was inspired by a warm but fresh citrus summer vibe which I personally feel is the perfect way to start off a new year. The gingham background is created using applique fabric squares but you could choose to stitch directly onto some gingham patterned fabric or paint the pattern on instead. The addition of highlight and shadow sections to the lemon branch really helps elevate the design and add depth. I really hope you enjoy stitching this fun summer design as much as I did!
