‘Make a Splash’ is our pattern for November’s 2024’s Pattern Club and is now available as a standalone PDF.

Who doesn’t love whales right??? This fun piece allows you to practice two main embroidery techniques – layering fabric for the background and basic thread painting techniques to add shading and depth to the whale!! The fun part of this design is that it is able to be flipped… can you have the whale diving into the water instead of out of it!! Instead of the beige fabric, try a darker blue or even aqua colour instead, let your creativity be inspired!!
