‘A Girl and Her Dog’ is our pattern for August’s 2024’s Pattern Club is now available as a standalone PDF.

I am so excited to be sharing this pattern with you (and your furry friend of course). I love the applique skirt and how it adds a fun 3D element to the design. Now I love all dogs but we own two border collies and Aurora, our wheaten BC (pictured above) is the inspiration for the colouring of the pup in the design. However I was inspired to offer another 2 doggo options (Golden Retriever and Dachshund) as well as just the girl by herself so you truly can customise this project. Feel free to change the colourings of the dogs and of course hair and skin tone, pick a fun and bright patterned fabric for the skirt, whatever you feel inspired to create!
